Californias at it again
It's typical California. I do not see how anyone could live in that state, with all the idiots that they have running it. There are several other places that have tried the same thing, and the crime rate, and homicide rates have doubled or tripled. I does not take a brain surgeon to figure this out. The criminals are going to get the guns anyways. So now that they know that they can break into a house, or try to car jack someone, and that they have nothing to worry about, is giving them an open door to break the law. In Texas, as soon as the concealed gun law came into effect, crime rates dropped for murders, break ins, and car jackings. Why? Becuse now there is a chance that the person they choose to steal from, could pull a gun and put it right in their face, where is belongs. Why is this so hard to figure out? There was an article in the paper a few months back, about a family that had to give up their guns. The family had a 13 year old girl, and a younger brother. The father had trained the girl on gun safety, and how to handle the weapon. He had taken her to the gun range, and taught her how to properly handle and shoot the gun. Well as typical, the utopians decided that all handguns should be banned, and being a law abiding family, they turned their guns in. A few weeks later, the parents were out, and the daughter and son were home. Some one broke into the house, shot and killed the little boy, and shot the girl. In an interview at the hospital, the daughter told her dad that she know what was happening, and if they still had the gun, she could have gotten it, and shot the intruder. So now we can chalk up a 5 year boys life, and a 13 year old girl that has been through the agony of being shot and watching her brother die, because some people think that gun control is a good thing. They push us to believe this is true, but they can not name one place that had done this, and where the crime rate has decreased. But then again, does this surprise anyone?

Yes, I agree with what you are saying. It is the same here in Texas, I know of several people that vote straight democrat, just because. They have no idea what the issues are, or how their party deals with these issues. Thank God that there are enough sensible people here to keep this state on the right path.
